15. Shallow wading trough

The section is intended for testing the operation of electrical equipment and the tightness of the body (cabin) in strong water spray conditions when driving at different speeds, as well as for soaking the brakes when testing them for efficiency in such conditions.

Dimensions:

  • total length of the section - 67 m;

  • length of the section with an estimated depth of 0.2 m is 40 m;

  • width is 5 m;

  • longitudinal slope of entry and exit - 4%.

Surface:

The shallow wading trough is made of monolithic hydraulic concrete reinforced with steel mesh.
